How to Train Your Trainer

This is a repeat session of the December training. You only need to attend one of the available sessions. With CalFresh Healthy Living funding nearing its conclusion, teams are shifting from direct delivery to technical assistance and sustainability. One way to achieve this is to equip community champions with the knowledge and skills they need to take over this work. However, developing a comprehensive "Train the Trainer" program from scratch can feel overwhelming. Join us for a two-hour webinar designed to demystify this critical process. Participants will receive practical tips, resources, and best practices to successfully launch their own Train-the-Trainer program. Although this session will focus on Direct Education, we will also discuss policy, systems, and environmental (PSE) change work. To ensure you are fully supported, Leah's Pantry will offer dedicated Office Hours in the months following the webinar for one-on-one consultation and guidance as you begin to train community partners. Note: This is a repeat session of the December training. You only need to attend one of the available sessions.

End-of-Quarter Check-In: Connect, Reflect, and Recharge

As we begin winding down the quarter, the Statewide Training team is creating space for something we all benefit from but rarely have time to do—simply connecting with one another. You’re invited to join us for a relaxed, one-hour end-of-quarter check-in. This session is an opportunity to pause together, talk about what’s been working well, reflect on challenges, and swap program ideas or insights as we head into the next phase of our work. Whether you have something specific to share or just want to listen and be part of the conversation, we’d love to have you! Come as you are—bring a story, a question, a win, or simply your curiosity. This is a chance to reconnect, support one another, and recharge as we close out the quarter.
