FFY 24-26 IWP Planning Tool

Purpose:

This tool is an aid to support organized meetings and discussions with the local community, partners, and other stakeholders in the development of a local CalFresh Healthy Living (CFHL) Integrated Work Plan (IWP).

Instructions:

This planning tool consists of five parts: Big Picture Planning, PSE Planning, Partner and Coalition Mapping, Accountability & Sustainability Planning, and Guidance Document Alignment. It was designed to be used in its entirety, but if certain parts are more helpful, use only those that hold value for you, or take on certain pieces at a time. You are encouraged to take your time – it may not be feasible or reasonable to try to complete the entire tool in one sitting – thoughtful responses at this planning stage will lead to a well-defined IWP. This tool is most impactful with contributions from all LIAs within the jurisdiction.

As a reminder, and referenced through the CFHL Principles and Priorities below, addressing racial and health equity is at the core of this program. All parts of this tool should be viewed and developed through an equity lens. At all times, this program aims to address inequities and strives to impact communities by supporting environments that promote diversity, inclusion and belonging while supporting healthy eating and active living.
