A host of materials have been developed to help CalFresh eligible shoppers make the most of food and nutrition program benefits at their local farmers markets. Most materials are available in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. They can either be downloaded and shared as digital files, downloaded and printed, or downloaded and customized with information for local market sites. Get More at the Farmers Market! Campaign Guide
A guide was developed to support the implementation strategies including social marketing samples to promote the initiative. The guide explains the initiative and available resources as well as activities you can do at the market that promote the use of CalFresh benefits.
Flyers
The one-page flyers provide specific information about farmers market locations, dates, and times where CalFresh shoppers can use their benefits. These flyers can be customized to include details about any educational activities taking place. Distributing these flyers to partners and eligible participants at agency offices and public aid centers helps ensure easy access to vital information.
Posters
To reinforce campaign messages and guide shoppers, colorful posters highlight where to access benefits at farmers markets. These posters are intended for display at farmers markets, as well as in lobbies and other community locations.

Postcards
For targeted outreach, postcards can be sent directly to clients or handed out at community sites, agency offices, food banks, and food pantries. These convenient resources serve as reminders and prompts for individuals to engage with the campaign and take advantage of available benefits.

The trifold brochures contain helpful instructions on utilizing benefits. These brochures can be distributed directly to your partners and eligible participants at implementing agency offices, public aid offices, food banks, schools, and various community sites.
