Trauma-Informed Care in Community Gardens

Description
This training applies trauma-informed principles to community garden programs through self-paced content and live Zoom sessions. Topics include teaching strategies in garden settings and establishing the garden as a space for healing and community collaboration. As part of this training, participants will create an implementation plan for their garden program and network with other garden educators. It is recommended that participants have completed a previous Leah’s Pantry trauma-informed training, although optional content is included for participants without prior trauma-informed nutrition training.
